Your rate is set per individual service (each hair or makeup service you complete). Your total pay for a booking is your per-service rate multiplied by the number of services in the booking.
Example: 4 services at $90 per service = $360 total.
The rate includes travel to the client location, with the exception of parking fees. If parking is incurred, clients will reimburse you on location for that fee.
Gratuities are a client preference and are given to the artist directly on site (not collected in the service total).
Corporate sessions pay a flat rate set for the booking. This is a single amount for the whole session, not per service.

This Independent Contractor Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Beauty Studio Inc. ("Company") and the undersigned artist ("Contractor").
1. Relationship. Contractor is an independent contractor and not an employee. Contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and equipment. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employer-employee relationship.
2. Services. Contractor agrees to provide hair, makeup, and/or beauty services to clients as assigned through the Beauty Studio platform. Contractor may accept or decline assignments at their discretion.
3. Compensation. Contractor will be paid for completed services at the rate agreed upon for each assignment. Payments are issued via direct deposit: within 10 business days for general clients, and NET30 for corporate/production clients.
4. Cancellation Policy. Contractor agrees to provide timely notice if unable to fulfill a confirmed assignment. Cancellations on confirmed appointments may result in account suspension or termination.
5. Professional Standards. Contractor agrees to maintain professional standards of service, punctuality, and client communication. Contractor will arrive on time, prepared with necessary supplies, and dressed appropriately.
6. Confidentiality. Contractor agrees to keep all client information, event details, and company operations confidential. Client photos may only be shared with written client consent.
7. Non-Solicitation of Agency Clients. All client bookings, rebookings, and service additions must be arranged exclusively through Beauty Studio Inc. During the term of this Agreement and for twenty-four (24) months following termination, Contractor shall not: (a) solicit, book, or rebook any Agency Client directly; (b) add services to an agency booking or accept payment from an Agency Client outside the agency; (c) share personal contact information, social media handles, or booking links with any Agency Client; or (d) follow, tag, message, or otherwise initiate contact with an Agency Client on social media. "Agency Client" means any client introduced to Contractor through a Beauty Studio booking, inquiry, or event. If an Agency Client requests additional services or a rebooking, Contractor shall refer the client to Beauty Studio; the agency honors client and artist pairing requests and will book Contractor for the requested services where available. Beauty Studio maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward solicitation of Agency Clients. Breach of this Section is grounds for immediate removal from the artist roster and termination of this Agreement, and the agency reserves all other rights and remedies available at law.
8. Insurance & Liability. Contractor is responsible for maintaining appropriate professional liability insurance. Company is not liable for Contractor's actions, negligence, or damages during service delivery.
9. Termination. Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time with written notice. Company reserves the right to deactivate Contractor's account for violations of this Agreement.
10. Governing Law. This Agreement shall be governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the state in which the Contractor resides.
